Welcome to

Pashalis Koutzimbis, Chef and founder of Zorbas, came to the United States in November of 1983 and decided to open the doors of his wonderful restaurant in March 1989. The restaurant started doing business with a Mexican food buffet and an a la carte menu of Greek food, even though the large part of their clientele were Mexican people. Six months after opening however, the Greek dishes were selling more and more, so Chef Koutzimbis decided to open a magnificent buffet of the best, most popular, and most typical Greek foods for all their clients to enjoy.

My favorite buffet. I been going here since my high school days. The food has been consistently good over all those years. They have your go to standard Greek cuisine but mixed in their are daily chef specials that are awesome. Love that they usually have some form of a fish dish mixed in daily. I don't feel too guilty when I go overboard because the food is more healthier than your normal buffet food. Only thing sometimes is the service gets a bit busy your drinks are not refilled enough. Other than that small inconvenience this place Is the reel deal.

As a traditional Greek woman, I can appreciate the homemade food this establishment serves. The meat dolmades are just as good as restaurants in Greece. The dips are flavorful and a perfect texture. There are plenty of options to accommodate all tastes. The food items are fresh and the buffet is clean. The place offers entertainment on weekends which is great because it allows you to let loose and have a good time. There is a full bar and a nice wine list too. Great place for big groups too. What's nice to see is that this is a family owned and operated business. This family works really hard to provide a wonderful experience to each guest. It was my first time going last night for my brother's birthday and I look forward to celebrating many more happy occasions there. OPA!!

This place has the best Greek buffet in San Diego. The food is fresh, authenticate, and delicious. There are too many options and you will not be disappointed. Among the best are; salad plates and hummus, lamb, gyro, beef and grilled veggies, spanakopita, mussels, moussaka, eggplant, etc. The service is great too!

Live show every Friday & Saturday night
The name of the restaurant, “Zorbas” is inspired by the movie “Zorba the Greek.” With that theme in mind, in 1995 the restaurant came up with the idea of offering an entertaining show to their guests, to educate them a bit about Greek music, traditions, dances, and most importantly, the taste of Greek food! Please be adviced that due to the rising costs of food, actual prices may differ from the website. We try to keep everything updated ontime.
